Created using 11 rows on each side (double sided) of 3″ x 4″ novelty fabric squares. Linda used polyester batting to withstand multiple washings and it wouldn’t shift as much. She put a running quilt stitch through the center of each square.

“The little strap is sewn in with the binding, of course, and I’ve tried to be cautious about rounding the edges of the Velcro so that there weren’t rough corners to be scratchy. The rough part of the Velcro is next to the body of the piece, with a softer part toward the edge. The strap I made about 11 1/2 inches long so it isn’t too long to worry about catching on something or someone.”
