History of Brunswick Quilters

Brunswick Quilters began  in 1997 as a club with the Education and Community Association of Brunswick County.  The club  was affiliated with the Cooperative Extension Services of North Carolina with Eleanor Hoff as it’s leader.  The club had between 5 and 12 active members at that time.   In 2002 Brunswick Quilters became an independent group and met at Lockwood Folly and while continuing to grow in numbers moved to the Moose Lodge of Shallotte.  In 2009 a move was made to the Shallotte Presbyterian Church where we continue to meet and grow in skill and fellowship.
