The cost for the room is $129 for night or $139.

Our 2023 retreat is scheduled to start Sunday, February 5th with check-in at 3pm, ( we will be able to sew Sunday after3pm). leaving on Thursday, February 9th, at the oceanfront Doubletree Atlantic Beach. The hotel is waiving the function room fee, they will be giving a voucher for a reduced fee for the breakfast buffet. The hotel will be bringing a mid-morning snack as well as mid afternoon pastry. Our function room will accommodate 30 quilters, however, if there are several more members that want to attend we will be able to have a larger room if it is not booked. The larger room is available at this time, however, they can not hold the room if anyone else wants to book. Please let me know as soon as you can that you will be attending.

The room rate is $129 per night for 1-2 people, $139 per night for 3-4 people. Each room will need a captain, they will be the person collecting the money from their roommate(s) and make the payment to the hotel. Only one payment per room.

As many will remember, the retreat was amazing, games, sewing (as long as you like) and a shop hop going on at local quilt shops or a walk on the beach

As it happens, our retreat is taking place the week of a shop hop. I will be sending the details out with the names and locations of the shops.

A retreat is a wonderful way to get better acquainted with other guild members, share stories and quilting tips.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you are attending and who will be the captain. The hotel will be setting aside a block of rooms and giving a code when we book.

Once I have an approximate head count, the determination will be made whether to book the small or the large function room, at which time the contract will be signed. Then a code will be issued by the hotel that will need to be used when the captain books the room (this assures you receive our group rates). Many have responded letting me know whether they will have a roommate or will be staying alone, this is a great help. Please continue to keep me in the loop regarding how many people per room, this will help with making sure we have enough guest rooms being blocked off for our use.
