This is a free pattern from Kate Spain. There are 9 different blocks. You can download the whole pattern or when you print, select just the page of the block YOU want to make.
Choose ANY block from the collection. Please make in traditional Christmas colors of red/ green/white ( You do NOT need to use Kate Spain fabric- use your stash). The winner of these BOM’s will have a holiday quilt to keep or gift!

This is a paper pieced block- 10″ Stars at Night (please DISREGARD the Christmas Star title)-
- Print all 4 pages
- You will need 3 fabrics total: black for the background and 2 fabrics for the star.
- You will need 2 coordinating, or complimentary fabrics for the star: batik, tone on tone, etc.
- Use black for the background
- Read directions on cover page before beginning, ignoring the ‘Christmas’ part of the title-Elaine has renamed this Stars at Night
You will need to print out the following 4 pages; make sure your printer is set to ‘full page’ or 100%. It should NOT say ‘fit to page’.
