Quilted Treasures Quilt Show 2007

On May 5th and 6th 2007 Brunswick Quilters hosted it's first quilt show at the North Carolina National Guard Armory in Shallotte.  There were 95 quilts entered by the members of Brunswick Quilters.  Demonstrations on various techniques were given by guild members hourly.  A Marketplace with quilt related items was available to the public and a booth displaying the activities and information about Brunswick Quilters was kept busy during the show.  Of course it wouldn't be a quilt show without vendors with sewing machines, fabric and the latest gadgets available.  All in all our first show was a huge success.

A special "Thank you" to the North Carolina National Guard Armory for the use of their facility, the Shallotte Police Department and the Brunswick County Sheriff Department for their help and cooperation.  Also to Quilters By The Sea Quilt Guild in Wilmington who loaned us equipment.
