Block of the Month:
Lucymarie gave a demonstration on the September BOM. The blocks from last month looked great.
Tip of the Day:
There was a wonderful exchange of ideas for putting quilting patterns on your quilts. Many of the members shared their ideas. Some of the great tips: using glad press n seal freezer wrap to draw your pattern on. The wrap sticks to the fabric.
Use freezer paper, or tissue paper. Stitch the pattern on the paper without thread then use pounce on it to make a chalk mark on your fabric.
Use cookie cutters, plates, bowls, glasses for shapes to trace
Use a design from your quilt as a pattern for quilting
stencilcompany.com has the best chalk pencil
patcampbell.com chalk pencil
