Secretary: There are a few errors
on our web site. I am working to
correct them. Actually, you wouldn't
have noticed them if you were not looking for a particular picture from our
Quilt Show. A few pages of pictures are
not coming up. I will have it fixed as
soon as I can.
The Brunswick Quilters 5th Annual
Retreat is next week.
Comfort Quilts: October 23rd is the next
comfort quilt workshop. There were
great tops turned in from the challenge Marita gave us with that
"awful" fabric. You can
really see who has talent!
Block of the Month: Lucymarie Timmermann
continues to wow us with her crazy curve demos and blocks. I can't wait to see what we will wind up
with when we get all the blocks done.
Vice President: Liz Scott had no
response to the ticket pulled last month for the craft/sewing case. A new ticket was pulled and Becky Klass was
the winner. Congratulations Becky!

looked great.
How to know if you are a REAL quilter
There's more fabric in the house than food.
"Fat quarter" is not the heaviest part of your body.
Your ironing board is always set up, but you never iron clothes.
You think of your job as an interruption of your quilting time.
You pet fabric.
People are always picking thread off you.
You can measure a scant 1/4 inch by eye.
"Featherweight" doesn't mean boxer.
Your "UFO's" are not from outer space.
You clean up your sewing room and your family thinks that you are leaving home.
See you all on the 23rd.
Wanda Williams
