Quilt Show: Anne
Pendred reported that the quilt
show was fabulous. 37 members entered
quilts in the show totaling 95 quilts.
Our Luscious Lilies Raffle quilt raised $3519.00 with 4270 tickets being
sold. There were 347 paid visitors to
our show including children and husbands.
The visitors were very surprised at the variety of quilts displayed. There were no duplicates. We had 4 vendors, our very own Good Night Irene
Quilts, Loving Stitches, Sew Perfect and Bernina is Sew Much Fun. All of the vendors were pleased, but would
have liked more space.
We have received only positive comments from those visiting the
show. Anne would like any comments,
suggestions or/and constructive criticisms from the membership to be sent to
her. Julia Larsen has already
volunteered for Publicity for the next show.
The bottom line on money is not ready yet, but we made money on our
show. We left the Armory cleaner that
we found it.

well. Six sellers made $241.00. It’s hard to sell quilted items to quilters.
A big Thank You to everyone who helped
with the Market Place.

Thank You for everyone who put items in the display and helped with the
booth.

Quilters Day in January. Wanda Williams
gave Walker Bags to visitors who were using walkers.
Megan Carmichael sold quilts at the show and donated the profit to
comfort quilts.
We need to make sure all of the signs placed along the roads are
taken down. We will save them for
future use. Anne suggested we get a
storage unit for storage. Donna will
help with storage until the issue is resolved.
Prices for units will be investigated.
