Donna announced that Becky Klass would be assisting Nina Anderson in her Treasurer’s duties this year.

Anne Pendred talked quite a bit about the quilt show – everything was going according to plan. Thursday, May 3 we will have access to the armory for cleaning (probably with a professional staff), and marking floor for racking. Friday will be hanging day. Saturday the armory will open at 9:00, with all volunteers expected by 9:30-9:45. Anne posted herself at a table down front for the remainder of the day for answering questions and offering committee sign-up sheets.
Sally asked for volunteers for the Gallery Team (white glove ladies)
Anne mentioned that there is a $5 donation fee at the door. Coupons for $2.00 off will be honored. Joyce DeLucia did a sleeve demo for the larger hanging quilts
Registration papers for our quilts have areas for pricing quilts if they are for sale. Purchasers will see Nancy Jo at the Market table for payment.
Channel 3 is supposed to be running our ad.
Flyers are available – get them out to any useful places that we can think of. We will put them in our car windows about 2 weeks prior.
NQA will be our insurance supplier but NOT for quilts: too expensive and impractical. We should each take care of individual insurance on our quilts if we want it.
Joyce DeLucia – education – April 17 Judy Lilly will be doing a machine quilting class. She has sign-ups for Joan Shay’s class on June 18. Cathy Wiggins will be at Meet the Quilters, Jan. 15 and will also be teaching a class for us on the following day.
April 15 is the deadline for returning all paperwork to Joyce regarding quilt entries. Quilts larger than 46 x 46 will need a sleeve.
April 25 10:00 – 1:00 is the only time to make quilts delivered to Anne. Quilts must be picked up between 5:00 – 6:00 after the show on Sunday, May 5.
